Max started his first business when he was 8 years old on his parents’ farm in Carp, Canada. Since his early introduction to business, Max became fascinated with technology and its global reach. While studying engineering at Queen’s University, Max began working with small businesses, helping them implement new technologies to grow. When he graduated, Spoonity’s foundations were firmly in place, with a strong focus on bringing joy to the customer journey at quick-serve restaurants through the use of cutting-edge technology. Over the past decade, Max has worked with businesses big and small to help them leverage the power of technology to grow and succeed.
Jose is Spoonity’s co-founder whose initial impact contributed to the launch of their first major client, the creation of their first development team, and the introduction of Agile processes. Later, he transitioned into a sales role before expanding the company internationally. He currently leads the Growth team, where he has spearheaded Spoonity’s growth to over ten countries throughout Latin America and beyond. As a leader, he excels in building teams and delivering products. He mentors and inspires team members to reach their full potential. Outside work, Jose is a devoted husband and father of two wonderful children. Once a competitive tennis player, he has recently developed a taste for cross-country ski.
Brandin builds tools to help businesses grow, and provides mentorship and training to the next generation of builders. Brandin was first exposed to computer programming at a young age, teaching himself how to write macros and scripts that would reduce the amount of work he had to do at school. A firm believer in practical learning, he moved from a university program at the end of his first year to a college program, where he graduated with honors two years later.
Santiago is a lifelong learner, high-level technical professional, entrepreneur and creator of business solutions at Spoonity. A data scientist with a passion for innovation and new technologies, Santiago analyzes financial, commercial and statistical data. Over the years, he has honed in on his skills in project management, business intelligence and strategic planning. Santiago’s studies in Computer Science and Business Intelligence are complemented by his extensive experience in nearly 20 technological implementation projects for Databases and BI.
Passionate about international business, José Manuel thrives in global environments. He leads the Marketing & Business Development teams and is responsible for bringing Spoonity’s loyalty solutions to market. His personal goal in the tech space is to “humanize data” or, in other words, use data as a tool to measure the customer emotions motivating their purchasing behavior. Understanding consumer needs and committing to finding the best solutions is a key driver for him. When not telling the Spoonity story, José Manuel can be found playing soccer with his kids or riding his motorcycle around Ottawa.
Winston leads the product management team, and is responsible for building an unrivalled customer engagement platform that consistently exceeds the expectations of Spoonity’s merchants. From working at multinational companies to founding his very own startup, he has spent the last 10+ years where product management, strategy and analytics intersect. Winstons has led product development across numerous channels, including e-commerce, media, fintech, and supply chain.
